WASHINGTON, DC–Colliers International is clearly on a hiring spree to expand its broker talent bench. Its latest new hire is Jim Crew, who has been tapped to expand the retail brokerage team in the Washington DC area.

Jim will work to grow our retail platform here in the region and deliver the real estate counsel that our clients seek, said David Parker, regional managing director for Colliers International in Washington, DC, in a prepared statement.

Crew comes to Colliers International from CMB Property Company where he led the private equity company in acquiring multifamily and mixed-use properties in the Washington, DC and Charleston areas. Prior to that, he was an Asset Manager with American Realty Advisors. He also was Vice President / Asset Manager with Bentall Kennedy for nearly a decade.

He got his start in retail, though His first 15 years were spent at CBRE where he was Managing Director of the Washington, DC office and led the region's retail team.

“I began my real estate career in retail leasing and so coming to Colliers brings me back to my roots and a service area for which I have a passion, experience and expertise,” Crew says.
