BALTIMORE, MD–Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Peter Stanford to managing principal of the firm's Baltimore operations. He will succeed David Gillece who has led the business for the past 14 years.

Stanford has been with C&W for 25 years, dealing with both occupier and investor clients. Over the course of his career Stanford has led Global Occupier Services teams, served as director of the Baltimore Asset Services and supported the Capital Markets group. With this move, Stanford will return to his roots of client-facing activities. “I am a firm believer in our ability to make Baltimore an even greater city,” he says in a prepared statement.

“His broad range of experience across our platform and service lines will yield tremendous opportunities for our clients in the Baltimore market,” says Regional Managing Principal for the Mid-Atlantic region Roberta Liss, in a prepared statement.

The Baltimore office consists of more than 140 employees, including 49 producers, who completed more than $2.1 billion in transactions in 2017. The Asset Services team manages a 17 million-square-foot portfolio. All told the Baltimore office originates hundreds of US and international transactions annually.
