LOS ANGELES-CBRE's newly launched Workplace 360 was not built in a day. The company has slowly implemented the forward-thinking open-office concept over the past nine months, including a beta test period with 20 employees, to ensure a smooth transition. “I think there is a genuine excitement in the marketplace that CBRE is moving forward in this area. A lot of clients have talked about it, but few have really done it,” says Lewis C. Horne, CBRE executive managing director for Greater Los Angeles and Orange County.

Dubbed Workplace 360, the environment is paperless, mobile and highly tech savvy. It promotes interaction and collaboration, and enhances the workplace experience with open floor plans, ergonomic workstations, ample meeting rooms and exercise areas. As associate Rocky Binswanger puts it, “It makes you want to come to work.” In the below video, CBRE leaders and team members discuss the concept, transition and benefits of the new office environment.
