WASHINGTON, DC—Four new tenants have signed on at the JBG Companies' L'Enfant Plaza leasing nearly 50,000 square feet of space.

JBG completed a $46-million renovation to the mixed-use complex in 2014 and invested another $12 million last fall to renovate 955 L'Enfant Plaza, the 295,000 square-foot office building designed by architect I.M. Pei that opened in 1967.

The four new firms will occupy space in two existing office buildings at the office and retail property. The complex is located at 429, 470, 490 and 955 L'Enfant Plaza SW in Washington, DC. L'Enfant Plaza includes 650,000 square feet of office space and 120,000 square feet of retail space.

The four new firms at the property are Veracity Engineering, LLC; Digitalibiz, Inc.; Rigil Corp. and Allegheny Science & Technology. Geoffrey Kreiss of Cushman & Wakefield represented Veracity. Kreiss and C&W's Caroline Guidera represented Digitalibiz. Transwestern's Scott Fetterolf represented Rigil Corp. Allegheny Science & Technology did not have representation, according to JBG.

The year-long renovations at 955 L' Enfant Plaza included a new 50-person conference center, a two-story, floor-to-ceiling glass entrance, concierge services, upgraded elevator cabs, and a stairwell with direct indoor access to the on-site shops and restaurants. Lobby improvements included marble floors, a stone focal wall, metal architectural accents and a commissioned painting by artist John Hartman.
