DoubleTree Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX—Less than five miles from Six Flags Over Texas, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park and other attractions, DoubleTree by Hilton, a 237-room, five-story property offers amenities and more than 6,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Located at 1507 N. Watson Rd., it is the first DoubleTree property in this bustling suburb and the eighth in the Dallas metroplex. Formerly the Admiral Hotel, it is owned by Admiral Hotel Group LLC and managed by Hotel Equities.

“As we continue to grow our portfolio throughout the greater Dallas areas, this beautifully renovated property perfectly illustrates our ongoing commitment to providing a warm and welcoming culture of hospitality for tourists and business travelers,” said Dianna Vaughan, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. “We look forward to serving guests with our globally renowned DoubleTree by Hilton services and capabilities.”

Upon entering the open-spaced lobby, visitors will see evidence of the property's renovation, with design treatments, artwork and architectural styles that pay homage to Texas landscape and history. The lobby's connectivity zone features a floor-to-ceiling wall of televisions and decorative lighting, the perfect spot to socialize or explore online.

Vaughan tells GlobeSt.com: “From its constant business traffic to leisure destinations, like Six Flags Over Texas and AT&T Stadium, Dallas continues to be an important and thriving travel market. Introducing the beautifully renovated DoubleTree by Hilton Arlington DFW South marks our first DoubleTree by Hilton in Arlington and reiterates our commitment to providing a warm welcome and comfortable stay to the area's visitors.”

Each stay begins with a warm chocolate chip cookie greeting, and guest rooms offer complimentary WiFi, 40-inch HDTVs, mini-refrigerators, coffeemakers and workspaces; many rooms with pool views, patios or balconies. The Brass Spur Bar & Grill specializes in American regional cuisine, and its bar offers cocktails and appetizer happy hour specials.

Guests may swim in the outdoor pool or relax in one of the poolside cabanas. The complimentary fitness center has 24/7 accessibility, and features Precor cardio, strength and core fitness equipment. Other complimentary offerings are a 24-hour business center as well as a roundtrip shuttle to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The hotel can also accommodate business conferences, banquets and other events for up to 250 guests with A/V equipment and high-speed Internet access.

“With our transition to the DoubleTree by Hilton brand complete, our completely renovated facility is second to none in offering travelers to Arlington the finest features and amenities,” said Jemel Jones, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Arlington DFW South.

The hotel also provides guests with a full complement of services and brand amenities that are available in each room. DoubleTree by Hilton Arlington DFW South participates in the Hilton HHonors loyalty program, which includes free standard Wi-Fi, and access to digital check-in and Digital Key.
