Persimmon Model

DALLAS—Canyon Falls is a 1,200-acre master-planned community located in Flower Mound, Northlake and Argyle, TX. Newland Communities, developer of Canyon Falls, preserved much of the existing nature and landscaping in the development, offering residents scenery with rolling terrain, creekside trails and mature trees.

To complement the environment, Newland is developing several resident amenities including a pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and more than 10 miles of hike and bike trails. Canyon Falls is located in both the Argyle and Northwest school districts, which are highly ranked in North Texas. The development is also convenient to major highways and employment centers in the metroplex.

“In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Newland completed development of the Stonebridge Ranch community in McKinney in 2007. We are very excited to return to the metroplex as the developer of Canyon Falls and another new community, Hollyhock, which opened in 2016. In addition to developing in premier locations throughout the metroplex, Newland believes that Canyon Falls offers a unique setting with rolling hills and creekside views in which to build a community,” Brian Cramer, senior vice president, Newland Communities, tells GlobeSt.com. “We are able to offer a broad range of home products from 10 of the area's top builders appealing to a variety of people, singles, young families and empty nesters. For our residents with children, Canyon Falls is also part of two exceptional school districts. We are continuing to expand our portfolio with the development of another master-planned community in Frisco that we expect to break ground on this year.”

Highland Homes and Coventry Homes have opened new models in Canyon Falls. The model for the Persimmon section of Canyon Falls is located at 6384 Prairie Brush Trail. The available floor plans in Persimmon range from 2,400 to 3,500 square feet for base plans. The homes are priced from the $440,000s to the low $500,000s. All floorplans offer a study and a formal dining room. In each of Highland Homes' two-story floor plans, two bedrooms are conveniently located downstairs and two are upstairs. Features include open design, stone fireplaces to the ceiling, granite or Silestone countertops in the kitchen, and custom cabinets.

Coventry Homes' new model in the Bluestem neighborhood of Canyon Falls is located at 6332 Cedar Sage. Plans range from 1,896 to 3,769 square feet and are between the $340,000s and $440,000s. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom and there are two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Additional offerings of note for this location include granite countertops in the kitchen and master bathroom, and custom cabinetry.

These two openings, the second for both Highland Homes and Coventry, join nine other models from builders including Ashton Woods, Beazer Homes, CalAtlantic Homes, Drees Homes, Meritage Homes, Monterey Homes, Pulte Homes and Toll Brothers.

ULI highlighted Dallas as a metro to watch due to its corporate development and relocations, as previously reported.
