The 6,000-square-foot, two level landmark bank building features more than 115 feet of wraparound frontage on 14th Street and Washington Street. The former home of the Hudson Reporter newspaper offices will be renovated and repositioned into a prime retail asset. A spokesman for Thor Equities declined to provide the name of the seller or the dollar amount of the transaction.
“Uptown Hoboken is continuing to evolve into a premier residential and retail destination, and 1400 Washington Street is in the epicenter of this transformation,” says Melissa Gliatta, COO of Thor Equities.
