MILPITAS, CA—Three months after Cisco Systems Inc. agreed to occupy 10 planned buildings at the Irvine Co.’s expanding McCarthy Center in Milpitas, it has leased nine additional buildings there. The networking giant will now have more than one million sf at that campus just north of San Jose.

Bill Halford, president of the Irvine Office Co., says Cisco’s decision to occupy the entire complex “speaks to the growing demand in this area for flexible, high tech office space.”
