Dell Relocates Corporate Headquarters

Computer maker is eyeing 80,000 sf in Las Cimas.

AUSTIN, TX—Dell Computer Corp, one of the city’s major employers, is on the move. Dell is relocating its corporate headquarters to 80,000 sf in Las Cimas on Loop 360 near Bee Caves Rd. in southwest Austin. A moving date has not been determined for the estimated 100 employees of Dell and Dell Ventures, a venture capital fund, who are ticketed to relocate from a campus-style facility in Round Rock.

The Round Rock campus also is being expanded to meet space demands from the leading computer manufacturer. Two buildings totaling 750,000 sf are in the planning stages.
