The purchaser, Doetsch Bros. Co., an earthmoving contractor, has been in business since 1912. It will relocate its operations from Prospect Heights, a northwest suburb, this fall.
Asking price for the property, which has clearance up to 31 ft. and 6,500 sf of office space, was $2.1 million. The seller was a local private investor, and the local office of CB Richard Ellis arranged the same.
