The firm was also named architect of record for the redevelopment of the West Side Flats, an area across the Mississippi River from downtown St. Paul between the Wabasha and Robert Street bridges. U.S. Bancorp. recently said it plans to build a $50-million, 230,000-sf client service center that would be part of this "urban village," which would include 750 housing units. The project will play a role in the city's efforts to redevelop the riverfront.
