Lowe Sets Sights on $27-Million Office Development

WESTMINSTER, CO—Lowe Enterprises Colorado plans to break ground on a 240,000 sf, spec-office building complex in this Denver suburb in October. The $27-million Viewpoint Technology Center will have four buildings, the first with 60,000 sf. The Lowe project, at the northeast corner of Federal Boulevard and West 120th Avenue, is about a 20-minute drive northwest of Downtown Denver. More important, it also is within minutes of a Lucent Technologies’ campus.

Kate Fromanek, director of marketing and leasing for Lowe, the Colorado division of the private real estate investment firm based in Los Angeles, explains that prime tenants would be companies doing business with Lucent. Lowe manages more than $2.7 billion for institutional clients.
