New Roc Bowl will be patterned after the concept of Extreme Bowling and will feature glow-in-the-dark bowling action on 19 lanes and 60-inch televisions throughout. "There is nothing like this in the New York area," Castaldo boasts.

The $190-million, 500,000-sf New Roc City opened last fall. Besides the amusement component of the complex, major tenants include Regal Cinemas, Stop & Shop, Bally's Total Fitness and several restaurants. Nearby, Cappelli built a Marriott Residence Inn Hotel, a 100,000-sf building that was originally earmarked for office use. Castaldo reveals that Cappelli is in negotiations with the City of New Rochelle to convert the property to residential housing. He added that Cappelli Enterprises is looking at other parcels of available land in the city for possible office development.
