Parliament Opens Detroit Office

Construction firm is renovating its future Downtown branch.

DETROIT—One of Michigan’s oldest construction companies, Parliament Inc., has opened a new Downtown Detroit branch office located in the 719 Griswold Building. Parliament is currently renovating the structure, which was formerly known as One Kennedy Square and constructed in 1910.

The 23-story building is adjacent to the Penobscot Building and faces Campus Martius, the future home of Compuware Corp. Parliament, founded in 1959, will maintain its headquarters in the Silver Triangle Building in Southfield, MI. The firm’s Detroit office is the first of several planned branch offices, according to Parliament.
