Shoe Designer Tapping Colorado and Texas Markets

Steve Madden Ltd. finds the right fit in Denver.

DENVER—For the well-heeled …footwear designer Steve Madden Ltd. will launch its third retail site in the Greater Denver area and 65th in the country at the Aug. 11 grand opening of FlatIron Crossing, a new regional shopping center 15 miles north of Denver. Falling on the heels of that opening will be one in San Antonio, TX. The designer, wholesaler and marketer of fashion footwear for women and children has leased a 1,750-sf site in North Star mall in southwest Texas. The store is slated to open by the end of August and marks the designer’s second retail operation in the Lone Star State.
