TBS plans to stack a 25-story, 600,000-sf office tower on top of the parking deck at its Downtown complex adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park. The $140-million Turner Tower will house employees who overflowed space in CNN Center across the street. Construction will begin in 2002 and is scheduled for completion in 2004.
The building program also calls for a $100-million expansion of the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. At TBS' Techwood campus in Midtown, the company will add two more buildings to the pair currently under construction. The $45-million Building D will be ready in early 2003. Building C, costing $95 million, will open in early 2005. The facilities will house future networks and business units of Turner Entertainment Group.
