"We're adding a lot of new bodies," says one company executive in explaining the move. Spaulding & Slye is exclusive leasing agent for the building, which is being developed by Freeman Associates.
At this point, Spaulding & Slye is downplaying the deal, with spokesman Steve Steinberg insisting that "it's not official yet." A full-service company that does everything from development and leasing to property management and investment sales, Spaulding & Slye has fewer than 500 employees, 300 of them in Boston. The company will retain its headquarters at 255 State St., where it occupies about 20,000 sf.
