Once completed, the facility will be used for distribution of goods to Williams-Sonoma retail stores throughout the country. In the near term, the center will distribute to both the retail stores and directly to Williams-Sonoma's customers through purchases made via print catalog and the company's website. Williams-Sonoma is an upscale kitchen and home furnishing company. Hewson located the 265-acre distribution park in Olive Branch because is has all the elements needed for a successful facility, says company representatives, including location, value, tax benefits, low cost of living and a wealth of talented labor. The project marks the seventh Hewson has completed for Williams-Sonoma since 1983, totaling 3.3 million square feet including the Olive Branch facility.
