Developer Announces Multi-Million Dollar Deals

OLD GREENWICH, CT--Collins Enterprises acquires two office properties in Stamford as part of aggressive building purchase campaign. It also bought eight residential buildings.

Collins Enterprises here recently concluded several major acquisitions in Stamford. In a complex transaction, it purchased 67,000 sf of space in two Stamford office buildings from Cologne Re at 30 Oak St. and 120 Bedford St., along with eight residential structures. The total purchase price was approximately $7 million. Collins later flipped the residential properties to an unnamed buyer for $2 million. The developer notes that it plans to embark on a $2 million capital improvement program at its new office properties, which are approximately 75% leased.

In another deal, Collins reports that it has purchased three office buildings known as Plaza West at 2001 West Main St. in the western section of Stamford. The complex includes 80,000 sf. of office space and 13 residential units that total approximately 20,000 sf. Neither purchase price or buyer were revealed
