Yassky, who was honored with an award last year, notes that while anyone can enter a nomination, candidates should demonstrate a "solid past and future commitments to Rockland and bring business and civic benefit to the county by contributing to such achievements as: physical business expansions, relocations or job creation, growth of a company or industry, development or promotion of pro-business programs, policies or procedures or corporate involvement in civic interests."

The deadline for submissions is August 18. Honorees will be recognized during the organization's Connections 2000 event to be held on Nov. 16 at the IBM Palisades Executive Conference Center.
