Trump Tower Tops Out at 90 Stories

NEW YORK CITY--The neighbors objected but the world's tallest condominium is being built anyway. One unit sold for $38 million, a world record.

Concrete was poured here July 28 for the 90th floor of the world’s tallest residential building, Trump World Tower. Located at on First Avenue and 47th Street, the luxury condominium went up on the site of the former United Engineering Center.

The building’s height is matched by the asking prices, which range from over $1.2 million to more than $13 million, excluding one apartment that sold for $38 million, a world record. Among the amenities are a 60-ft swimming pool, private spa and health club and a private wine cellar.
