The Michigan Retailers Association has introduced a tool to help locate retail in the best possible locations. The new service is a customized demographic market analysis, developed by Anderson Economic Group in Lansing.

Each report includes maps and charts showing drive times, household income and expenditures (including a breakdown in type of merchandise bought), daytime population and other data. “ItÕs especially valuable for determining the best location for a new site,” says James P. Hallan, the companyÕs president and CEO. Cost of the analysis is $1,000 for MRA members and $1,500 for non-members.
