For Camden, one of the most downtrodden large cities in the nation, a number of questions remain, foremost among them oversight of the Fed grant. The city has already received substantial help in its redevelopment efforts, but city officials have steadily filed into the courts over corruption charges. At presstime, the state was strongly considering a governmental takeover of Camden.
