The new stamping and assembly facility is in Ramos Arizpe, near the Texas-Mexico border. It was built for Troy, MI-based Oxford Automotive, a top supplier to General Motors.
The Kitchell unit, Kitchell Mexico, partnered with the architectural and engineering firm of SHG Inc. of Detroit to design and build the plant. The facility is the latest in a string of projects Kitchell has completed in Mexico, with previous clients including Hewlett-Packard and Weyerhaeuser.
