Qtera Takes 28,500 SF at New Boca Property

BOCA RATON-The 65,000-sf Millennium Building is 100% leased, thanks to a five to 10-year transaction by the optical data transport system manufacturer for 28,500 sf at an estimated value of $3.5 million.

Careers USA is popping corks in recognition of filling up its new 65,000-sf Millennium Building at 6501 N. Congress Ave. Qtera Corp., a two-year-old optical data transport system manufacurer, is leasing 28,500 sf for five to 10 years. The estimated value of the lease is $3.5 million.

Careers USA itself is leasing 20,000 sf. Qtera was acquired last year by Nortel Networks. Qtera occupies 101,500 sf in other Boca properties. Class A area rents average $17.50 psf triple net, with projected expenses at $8 psf.
