White Lodging Services Corp. is developing a site at the same corner for a Residence Inn by Marriott project.
The Park Central property had been under consideration for development by Opus South Corp., but the deal fell through at the last minute due to a lack of pre-leasing. Opus had the property under contract and had gone as far as securing zoning and design work on the two proposed structures.
Yancy-Hausman & Associates represented the buyer while NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties acted on behalf of the seller, whose name is being withheld.
