240,000-SF Project In Works for Interstate Intersection

AUSTIN-A developer is buying into the bustle at the intersection of Parmer Lane and Interstate 35, the major north-south artery bisecting Texas. The 240,000-sf Park Central Project will be situated on 19.5 acres.

The Park Central Building Associates LP has purchased 19.5 acres to construct two buildings, consisting of 120,000 sf each, at the southwest corner of Parmer Lane and Interstate 35.

2″What amazes me most is the amount of activity occurring at the intersection,” says Alan K. Lacey of NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties. “Just one year ago, there was nothing. Today, development of some kind is occurring at three of the corners.”

White Lodging Services Corp. is developing a site at the same corner for a Residence Inn by Marriott project.
