Steven J. Silvestri is in the process of moving to Dallas from Phoenix, where he served as president of Bank of America's Southwest Banking Group. His duties involved overseeing the bank's consumer, small business and commercial banking operations and the Premier Banking Program in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and El Paso markets. Silvestri is replacing Guy Bodine III, effective immediately, according to bank officials.

"This is an exciting time for our company's future," says David Darnell, president of Bank of America's Central Banking Group. He says the bank is intent upon accelerating strategies for faster revenue growth.

Bodine is moving to San Antonio, where he will manage the Commercial Growth business for 10 states. He served as head of the Texas Commercial Bank prior to last year's promotion to Consumer Banking executive for Texas.
