Parker Construction is the project manager and will build an office on the site. "I am a hometown boy and have had ancestors in this area since the 1830s," says owner and developer Warren Parker. "I wanted to do something for the city." Nearly $4 million in Tax Increment Financing helped make the project possible.

The mall is located at Missouri highway 7 and Clark Street, just off of U.S. Highway 40. Building has begun on a Golden Corral restaurant. Construction on the mall itself and a Chili's restaurant is scheduled to start in about a month, and the movie theatre is about 60 days out from a construction start.

Construction has also started on a 180-unit apartment complexbehind the mall. Completion of the entire project is estimated to be about two years.
