The San Francisco-based software developer has struck a seven-year deal for a lease worth approximately $750,000 on a 35,000-sf space in the Koll Dublin Corporate Center in Dublin, Calif. The center sits at 4230 Dublin Boulevard and is close to I-680, a major traffic artery.
Macromedia's new space will eventually house 140 software developers, 50 of whom are expected to begin working there by the end of the year.
The company already has a location in the higher-rent district of Redwood Shores, a city on the northern end of Silicon Valley and about midway up the San Francisco peninsula.
