Brokers from Cushman Realty Corp.'s West LA, Downtown and New York offices represented St. Louis-based HOK, one of the nation's largest design practices. The building is owned by PMI Properties and PMI's owner, Jeffrey Palmer, represented his firm in the transaction.

Beverly Hills-based PMI specializes in converting Westside warehouses like the Culver City building to office space, Palmer tells GlobeSt.com. Several firms have moved into the Culver City area over the past several months, in part because rents in nearby Santa Monica and Century City are much higher.
