Last night the City Council began planning for its first City Hall on the property, to open within two years. Under one scenario, a pair of 15,000-square-foot buildings would be constructed for $7 million.
Sammamish could then pay off much of the cost of development by leasing out half the office space. It would also provide room for expansion when the time came. More public hearings are planned.
