Demolition will take eight-to-12 weeks. C.E. John Co. will begin work on Tenth@Hoyt - the Howell Building's 150,000-sf replacement - in the first quarter of 2001. Tenth@Hoyt is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2002.

Approximately 130,000 sf of the new building will be office space, with the remaining 20,000 sf slated for retail. Grubb & Ellis and RC Ford Co. hold the leasing contract.
