Packed into one 89,000 sf building on the property, Timberline is currently seeking approval from the City of Beaverton to build out its lot by adding 30,000 sf wing to its existing building, and constructing a separate, 50,000-sf building and a parking structure next to it, Timberline CFO Carl Asai tells GlobeSt.com.

"We're progressing with our campus expansion plans, but we need the space now," says Asai, whose company has grown from 408 employees to 470 since the start of the year. "We're pretty tightly packed in here."

A public hearing on the company's master plan for the site is scheduled for later this month. In the meantime, Timberline is having to lease nearby space in the Prudential-owned Summit Building, which sits three-tenths of a mile away from Cornell Oaks at 1260 N.W. Waterhouse Ave.

Timberline is just about to occupy the 24,000-sf third floor of the building, which was recently vacated by Nike. A year from now, Nike will vacate the second floor as well, and Timberline will take over that space, giving it 48,750 sf in the building.
