Timberline Software Corp. is expanding its employee base faster than it can build on its 7-acre piece of Cornell Oaks Corporate Park.

Packed into one 89,000 sf building on the property, Timberline is currently seeking approval from the City of Beaverton to build out its lot by adding 30,000 sf wing to its existing building, and constructing a separate, 50,000-sf building and a parking structure next to it, Timberline CFO Carl Asai tells GlobeSt.com.

“We’re progressing with our campus expansion plans, but we need the space now,” says Asai, whose company has grown from 408 employees to 470 since the start of the year. “We’re pretty tightly packed in here.”
