Lloyd Building LLC acquired the 40,000-sf property from the Backus family for $6 million. The owners are studying the site for future development.
The building covers the entire block bounded by Sixth, Seventh, Stewart and Olive, except for the Tower Building. Jim Falconer and Mark Houtchens are principals in Lloyd Building LLC and Vance, which manages such properties as the Tower Building.
