In addition to directing the sale of LoopNet services, the directors will manage client relationships and develop close ties to the local commercial real estate community, says Mark McLaughlin, vice president of sales.

LoopNet represents more than 118,000 commercial real estate professionals and 90% of the top commercial real estate organizations, including Coldwell Banker Commercial, Colliers International, Cushman & Wakefield, Grubb & Ellis, Insignia/ESG, Marcus & Millichap and Trammell Crow Company.

Its services include a commercial real estate listing service, targeted marketing, email-based property matching, automated web site development and online loan origination. Here's a look at the company's new regional sales directors:

Jay Hodes, Regional Director, Eastern U.S.-Hodes previously worked at CB Richard Ellis as director of corporate services, international, where he managed $1.2 billion worth of client owned and leased corporate offices worldwide. Prior to that, he worked at Newmark & Company Real Estate as associate director and at Cushman & Wakefield as a New York sales representative.

Red Weller, Regional Director, Central U.S.-Most recently, Weller was vice president of marketing and leasing at Grubb & Ellis in Chicago, Ill. Before that, Weller worked at Insignia/ESG, S.N. Phelps, Rubloff, Inc. and Trizec Properties as a leasing representative.

Brian Hines, Regional Director, South Central U.S.-Hines previous experience includes five years at TPMC Realty Corporation in Houston, Texas, as senior vice president of acquisitions/development. He also has worked at Cushman & Wakefield in Houston.

Christopher Hurd, Regional Manager, Southeastern U.S.-Prior to joining LoopNet, Hurd advised private investors on acquisition and disposition of mixed-use development projects. He also has served with Grubb & Ellis in the industrial services group.

Paul Petti, Regional Director, Florida, North & South Carolina-Petti comes to LoopNet from Walt Disney Imagineering, where he was manager of commercial sales. Prior to that, he was executive vice president at Kelly Consulting Group, where he oversaw commercial development and brokerage services throughout Florida.

Jeff Handler, Regional Director, Mid-Atlantic States -Handler was most recently assistant vice president at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, where he was responsible for business development, borrower and property analysis, loan structuring and placement. Before that, he was manager of peripheral land development at The Mills Corporation in Washington, D.C.

Michael Lotte, Regional Director, Rocky Mountains-Lotte comes from Office Advisors LLC, where he worked as principal for eight years. Previously, Lotte served as vice president of Venture Group Real Estate and as a broker with Cushman & Wakefield.
