The two-block project is bound by Middlefield Road, Broadway, Jefferson Avenue and the CalTrain railroad tracks. The first block would consist of an 80,000-sf mixed-use building with retail space and a 20-screen cinema with 4,500 seats, and the second block would consist of a five-level parking garage with 988 spaces and 35,000 sf of retail space.

Field Paoli Architects and Western Innisfree Ventures would be the project's developers. The environmental report touches on issues such as aesthetics, public services, and parking and transportation. City officials will discuss the report with residents at the Tuesday meeting.

Also included in the proposal are spaces for public art and extensive landscaping. Redwood City officials have yet not indicated a completion date for the project.
