Long-Awaited Washington Economic Development Agency Hits Another Snag

WASHINGTON-Sole real estate industry nominee is rejected because he is not a District resident.

The former president of real estate brokerage Barnes Morris Pardoe & Foster was the only real estate industry official proposed for the board of the National Capital Revitalization Corp.

Meanwhile, efforts to recruit an executive director for the agency, officially created in 1998, are being hampered by the political circumstances of the job, news reports say.
