Prodigy is relocating its headquarters from White Plains N. Y. to the state capital. The company has signed at River Place Pointe, a cliff-top complex near River Place Country Club. The FIC Realty project is located on the south side of RM 2222. The deal ends a months-long search for office space in the Loop 360 area. The relocation tentatively is slated for completion by year's end.
Prodigy is nearly half owned by San Antonio-based SBC Communications, which purchased its interest this spring - a fairly sure sign of Prodigy's move south. Officials said Prodigy wants to be near SBC's Technology Resources Laboratory at The Arboretum. The project owner FIC Realty also occupies an 80,000-sf building in the office complex.
