The Press Corps Inc., which has been at its Austin location for 14 years, is moving to a 28,000-sf warehouse in Buda, citing high costs and crowded streets.

The local printing company's new operation 2,000 sf of office space on nine acres in Hays County at 504 S. Loop 4. The seller is Antique Street Lamp.

Pat Whalen, Press Corps' CEO, says the new building is twice the size of his firm's current home at 5214 Burleson Road in Austin. “It's too crowded where we're at and the cost of real estate along with the Austin tax base is very prohibitive to keeping our prices down,” Whalen adds. “This gives us an opportunity to grow.” Whalen says the move to Buda will occur in October and he expects 98% of his employees to continue to work with Press Corps. NAI/Commercial Industrial Properties Co. is representing the seller.
