State Grant Pays for Jobs in Ulster

ALBANY-Empire State Development Chairman Charles Gargano reports that the agency's board of directors has approved $300,000 to support the $2.12 million business expansion at Zumtobel Lighting Inc. in Highland.

The $2.1 million investment project includes new lighting manufacturing equipment, a new computer system to help the company integrate into e-commerce markets and other facility equipment. In addition to its $300,000 grant, the ESD notes the company is also eligible for an additional $200,000 in funding as the project moves forward.
