With the contract, Wyndham, also based in Dallas, will be linking its nationwide property and sales team to Lanyon's beta team, says Dave Johnson, Wyndham executive vice president of sales and marketing. The use of trademark-software, Property Vault and PropertyPublisher, will simplify purchasing processes for customers and expedite requests for proposals by using real-time updates with an Internet-accessible database.

Lanyon president Brad Fred says the proprietary software solves information distribution obstacles at the lowest possible cost. The single-database technology enables Wyndham to combine all of its marketing content, customer-requested information and property management for its hotels and resorts in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.

Lanyon, founded 16 years ago, is a leader in content and channel management and process automation. It primarily services travel-related companies that effectively market services electronically. The company also has offices in London, Houston, Chicago and Toronto.
