Atlanta’s eastern metro area is getting a big dose of retail with the opening of Conyers Crossroads in Conyers, Rockdale County, about 28 miles east of Atlanta. Ben Carter Properties developed the 380,000 sf, estimated $50 million venture.

The center is located at an interchange of Ga. 138 and I-20, a major east-west metro area artery. Conyers Crossroads is anchored by Kohl’s department store (86,000 sf) and Carmike Cinemas (77,000 sf).

Other big box tenants are Circuit City (27,885 sf), Old Navy (25,000 sf), Staples office warehouse (24,000 sf) and Michaels (23,750 sf).
