The site now contains the city's last downtown hardware store, which is to close by October. West Water Real Estate Services' redevelopment plans calls for a 117,815-square-foot office building with 392 parking stalls and ground-floor stores.
The appeal hearing will start at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 123 Fifth Ave. Anyone may speak or submit written comments at the hearing. Information about the proposal is available in file No. IIB-99-61 in the city's planning department.
