Duke-Weeks to Break Ground on Facility for Spears Manufacturing

BOLINGBROOK, IL - Spears will use the 403,900-sf facility as its Midwest distribution center.

Spears Manufacturing, a manufacturer of injection molded pipe fittings, valves and other specialty products, will break ground Aug. 31 on a 403,925-sf build-to-suit facility at Crossroad Business Park, Bolingbrook, a suburb southwest of Chicago. The firm is headquartered in Sylmar, CA. It currently plans to use the building as its Midwest distribution center. Future expansion space in the property will be available for lease.

CB Richard Ellis represented Spears in the transaction. Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented the developer of the business park, Duke-Weeks Realty Corp. Duke-Weeks Construction is the general contractor for the project, which will be built on an 18-acre parcel overlooking one of the parkÕs water features.
