Emerging Vision Inc., which launched in March, caters to the optical manufacturing world. The company also is prepping to move into a new location in New York City, housing temporarily at 44 W. 18th St., a source told GlobeSt.com. Emerging Vision has signed a long-term lease for office space for its executive and financial management team at a building set to deliver in the fall.
Emerging Vision's new operations center, 315 S. Central Expressway, is across the street from its startup location. The office, which employs 30, will serve as a portal operations and development, tech support and customer service center. Deep Ellum is becoming increasingly popular as a dot-com address due to fiber optic capabilities in the mixed-use corridor located on the fringes of the Central Business District.
