The three-story, $5.5 million building will open in about a year on 2.5 acres near C-470 and South Broadway, near a large Lucent Technologies campus being completed in phases. The headquarters also will include a software development center for the specialty firm that helps businesses get on the Internet.

Interlink originally was headquartered in a mansion that had been converted into offices at the edge of Denver's Central Business District. But it outgrew the mansion and last year moved into a 38,000-sf building in the Inverness Business Park along the Interstate 25 corridor. Interlink will keep its Inverness building after its new headquarters are completed. It will house its Network Operating Center and Microsoft Software Development Center at Inverness.
