The company's 145-employee operation has outgrown its 85,000-sf facility off Frederick Street in Shelby, according to division manager Rick Jeter. Construction will begin next month and should be completed by June.
Lauth Property Group of Indianapolis will develop the building and initially lease it to the distributing firm. Local real estate sources expect Bindley Western to eventually buy the structure and sell its existing building in Shelby.
Bindley Western joins Sara Lee Corp. in the new park where it opened a 600-employee, 370,000-sf intimate apparel distribution center in January.
