Developer in Talks to Get Building Started

STAMFORD, CT- With office availability rates well below 10% in downtown Stamford, several developers are aggressively marketing sites for build-to-suit deals.

"We are hopeful that we will be able to snag them in the next month or so," Friedman notes. The company recently began demolition of 24 Richmond Hill Ave., a 66,000-sf building that stood at the site of the future Connecticut Place property.

The development is a joint venture of Louis Dreyfus Property Group and the Apollo Real Estate Investment Fund.
